After 50 years, it’s going to be fun seeing how many of our class we can recognize! Keep sending photographs!

It was very special to be part of the PHS community: small enough to know everyone in our class but large enough to have outstanding teachers and curricula. And there were many memorable events: the trip to Morgantown our junior year to the state basketball tournament to crown as champions our undefeated team (opps, dropped the crown!) or our senior day at the lake – and Raymond Kidwell crammed into the overhead luggage rack on the return trip (photo proof!)

Looking forward to August and more Kodak moments

After graduation, I attended Concord for an MRS degree.  There I met my husband of almost 47 years,  Jim Novarro, a Yankee, Italian and moved to NJ aka the Jersey Shore. We had twin girls 10 months after we were married and so began the roller coaster ride I have been on since.  I also had another daughter 5 years later.  They have given me 4 granddaughters and our first grandson.  They think MomMom is quite funny since she is a hillbilly.
Mostly I have been a mother and caregiver.  I was a secretary, bookkeeper, shop owner, dog track paramutual, and realtor.  I am also an Italian cook and a great salad maker.  My grands say my specialty is chocolate milk.  My Betty Crocker award has come in handy.
The lesson I learned from living in New Jersey is that people are people.  I have defended the WV jokes and also know which exit I get off in NJ.
It is hard to believe that I have made it or hope to make it to my 50th reunion.  I remember hearing "old people" talk about their reunions and I couldn't imagine.  I have enjoyed the friendships we have kept all these years and look forward to seeing people I haven't seen in ages.  If you don't recognize me, I'm the old wrinkled fool who keeps trying to dance.
