Comment: Looking forward to seeing everyone. After high school, I worked 4 years at Betsy Ross, 5 years at Celco and 19 years in coal mining. I got into the newspaper first at The Daily Telegraph in Bluefield then moved to Sevierville, TN as Circulation Director for The Mountain Press. In 1993, I went to work installing gas pipeline until I retired in 2006. My wife, Margaret, retired in 2009 and we are very active in our church. We are blessed to have 2 daughters, 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson. |

Comment:
Old age allows one to repeat themselves ( I have said this before ) -- to paraphrase some lines from a movie (Stand by Me), “Although I have not seen many of them in years, I know that I will miss them forever. I never had any friends later in life like the ones I had when I was in high school. Duh, does anybody?” Other than Jesus Christ and my wife, you are my best friends ever and I dream and think of you and our times together more than you will ever know. I am so looking forward to seeing you in August. |
