I cannot believe in my lifetime here on earth, centuries have changed. I knew this happened to my GrandFather, but never imagined it would happen to me. In my mind I am back on Lovell Ave. tormenting the dickens out of teachers who are trying so hard to actually see that my fellow classmates and myself will succeed in this world. Succeed??? I guess I did!! I have a roof over my head, enough food to eat to maintain 210 lbs., a wonderful wife, (4) lovely children, and (5) grandchildren. The Lord is in all of our lives. I believe with the help of my Parents, my Teachers and even some good advice from my Friends, I was able to succeed. I am mindful of an old saying I heard the other day. " Faith is taking the first step when you don't see the whole staircase". Praise the Lord for our "50th". |

Comment: Hi, everybody! How about this site; GREAT JOB CARL, JERRY and others I'm not aware of! Good to see all the classmates and looking forward to catching-up at our 50th. Who would have thunk it? (by the way, the "now" picture is a year old; truth in advertising) |

Harry and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary last August 30, 2009. Our oldest son, Mark, lives in Raleigh, NC and operates Gotta Dance Studio. He is married to Leslie Shamblin and has 2 sons, Nick and Matthew. David, our second son, lives in Princeton and has 4 children, Josh, Adam, Whitney and Eli, and 4 granddaughters. He works for UPS and is married to Julie Collins. Our daughter, Jennifer, is married to Ron Sites. They have 2 sons, Hunter and Scout, and live in Fairfield, VA. I’m working at First Community Bank in Bluefield as a personal banker. We enjoy our family, yard and garden, and going to Myrtle Beach. We enjoy good health and all the blessings the good Lord has given us. Life is good and we feel truly blessed. Where has the time gone? Looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up on children and Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. There is nothing like them. |
