| Comment: Updated 6/24/10: Served in US Navy 20 yrs., stationed in San Diego, CA; Turkey; Winter Harbor, ME; Mt. Clemons, MI; & Pittsburgh, PA. Attended BSC after Navy retirement and earned BS, Business Adm. & Computer Science. Was Personnel Dir. for Kwik Cafe, 12 yrs; Credit Mgr. for Total Life Family Practice Ctr., 14 yrs. Retired '04. Married to Brenda Clay, (PHS '63); have one daughter, Sandra (PHS '85); one son. Douglas, II (PHS '87), and; 4 wonderful grandchildren, ages 9 - 16 years old. Brenda & I love Princeton and hope to spend the rest of our years right here watching the sun rise and set from our mountain-top home. | |

Just the same crazy gal. Really enjoyed the years that I grew up in (1956-1960) those years were great I just wish everyone could have the good times we had. Well my life has been so full that I don’t know where to start. First, let me say I enjoyed my years growing up in Princeton and going to PHS. I do believe we who grew up in that time frame and where we grew up has to be the best years ever. After school I married David Worrell and we had two children which was the light of my eyes, a girl and then a boy. We divorced in 1963. I went to work 1965 at Lowes of Princeton and nine years later we had a man to transfer to the Princeton store. His name was Wiley Jones, we married and had 26 wonderful years together. We moved to Blountville, TN in 1976. I am still in Tennessee just the next town, Kingsport. Wiley passed away in 1996. I married Tommy Ashworth in 2007. I am a retired cosmetologist and beauty shop owner. I enjoy working outdoors and farming (cattle). I still try to keep in touch with some of my classmates. I have so much to happen in my life some good and some bad. The bad opened my eyes so I might see that I needed God in my life. I sing in our church choir and other happenings in the church. I have always enjoyed people so that keeps my life full. I have 5 grandchildren ages 21-31, 5 great grandchildren ages 2-8, one dog and one cat, 6 gold and Koli fish in my yard pond. I stay busy most of the time. I travel when I can (between all the other stuff that keeps me busy) haha. I also have 14 chickens, just an old fashion country gal. |
