While in graduate school, I met my wife Sandy and we will be celebrating 40 wonderful years of marriage next year. Since my college days, I have been at several brokerage firms in New York City, first as Securities Analyst and then for the last 35+ years as a Stockbroker. I am planning to retire by the end of this year. Sandy, who is chemistry major with a math minor, was in the Information Technology field for many years and retired a couple of years ago. However, to keep busy, while waiting for me to retire (which she believes will be never) landed a part-time job at one of New York City’s art and antique auction houses on their exhibition staff. A job she loves!! One of our joint passions has been ballroom dancing and for a number of years, beginning in the 1990's, competed on the national level, Sandy in Pro-Am competitions and the two of us in Senior Amateur competitions. Sandy, an excellent dancer, pulled me along. One of the joys in growing up in Princeton has been the lifelong friendships made and kept with a group of wonderful guys and their wives and significant others. This group of guys has consisted of my brother, Jerry, the Walnut Street’s Scotty Reid and Kerby Smith, and the gang of Sam Goodall, Raymond Kidwell, Rick Swope, Carl Thomason and Jerry Wizon and our late friends George Santon and Philip Selig. We could not imagine a better group of friends!! We feel very lucky!! |

Comment: I'm still aging, started when I turned 55, but praise the Lord it's got the alternative beat by six feet and a stone. Hoping you folks have a good time and enjoy one another. Till next time have yourself and family a swell get-a-long. |

Over the years, I've enjoyed travel. In Canada, I enjoyed Quebec City. In Britain, I enjoyed the Parliament Building and Buckingham Palace. In France, I enjoyed the Versailles Palace and the Louvre Art Museum. In Germany, I enjoyed the home of J.S. Bach. In Switzerland, I enjoyed the city of Lucerne. In Austria, I enjoyed the City of Innsbruck. In West Virginia, I enjoyed the view from Grandview State Park. I have been able to sing. Over the years I have sung with the May Festival Chorus. We were accompanied by the Cincinnati Symphony. Those were fun gigs. I have also enjoyed visiting and staying in touch with PHS Classmates. I want to wish each one the best. |
